Hi "Prof",

It's easy - just go to the UBT team website and then you can use the links on each project "page" to leave your old team and join UBT....!

Start off here:

http://www.ukboincteam.org.uk/menu/ubt- ... links.html

then click on the specific project you are crunching for.

Then click on "leave other team" - or just click on Join, if you are NOT a membr of another team.

On the 3 CPDN projects, (CPDN, BBC CCE and SAP), ALL the credits you have been awarded (while crunching for each of these projects) will be deducted from the team you leave and added to the UBT totals.

For all other projects, your new credits are "added" to the UBT project totals after you've joined, leaving your "old" credits with your "former" team.

Either way, welcome on board.

regards

Tim

Thanks, Tim. Moved all points across to UK BOINC. Thought it would be easy, just needed a gentle push in the right direction.  :)

No worries !!

So, if you are "The Prof (+4 dots)" on various BOINC project, are you the same as "The Prof (+3 dots)" on the BBC CCE project (as this one has a different CPID number and implies (if you are the same) that you signed up to the BBC project using a different email address?

If so, then I assume you know that you can edit your name/email on the BBC account page to make it like the other projects.

Likewise, if you want, I can change your FORUM user name to "The Prof (+4 dots)", if it helps.....!

The BBC user The Prof (+3 dots) now has the same CPID as the Chess960@Home user The Prof (+4 dots) but still different from the other The Prof acoounts

You're quite welcome to call em what you want, 3 dots, 4 dots, 99 dots  :D and use different emails for each if you want.
But you get some benefit from using the same email address on all your accounts (ie consolidated stats on the stats sites)

Good, it's about time the BBC stats updated...!

The "The Prof" (no dots) is USA based anyways...!

Quite true - but if the email and user name are different, then the stats won't be combined, as they are in essence totally separate users.

If points still missing, can we arange for a transfer, or if points already transfered, will change user name to suit.
