Hi all,

Following on from my posting back in February, when GCap announced they were going to CLOSE Planet Rock:

It has been announced that the station has now been sold, with immediate effect to a consortium called "Rock Show", which includes Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Gary Moore (ex-Thin Lizzy) and Fish (ex-Marillion). They have been joined by a "rock and radio fan"  called Malcolm Bluemel, who runs a successful business providing travel visa's for corporates and individuals.  


So, as from today, the station is under NEW MANAGEMENT.

Long Live Planet Rock.

and MANY THANKS to anyone and everyone who got involved, signed petitions or pledged support for the station.

Well done Tim with your campaign. We can all now sleep easier in out beds now disturbed only by the lilting strains of Alice Cooper, Black sabbath, MeatLoaf...............
