There is now a 64 bit BOINC client available from Crunch3r

Use it at your own risk, its still trial & error from what I can tell, might just be safer waiting for BOINC staff to get around to making an official 64 bit client

OK, if anyone else want to know (at time of writing) just install the normal boinc x86 client, stop the service and copy the contents over whats in there, then start it again

Just tried Crunch3r's XP/Vista App version 5.9.0, Pirates@home is a no no, seems to inflate the requested credits??

as opposed to 5.8.16 app

I didnt encounter any failed WU's using this modified client so its up to you!!!!

I'm not to sure about this myself so i thought i would post before i go ahead and try it, but on Crunch3r's website would the Intel Core 2 SSE3 package be likly to run ok on a quad-core? Or would it be likly to go balls up on me and complain if i did this?

Current Specification:
Vista x64-bit
Intel Core 2 Quad

Would this work?

[EDIT]
This package seems to work fine! Crunching away on 64-bit!
