Chase page

Can we have a new target on the Chase page please? I know some people don't like it/use it but for new users/members/browsers it'll be one of the first stats pages they view. (And I like it anyway!)

A change from Hewlett-Packard (who we passed several days ago) to Einstein at Work would be good for me!

I don't use it have not done since the new version, its been made redundant makes no sense keeping 2 different versions of it when one works better than the other. Less to do that way

I don't know of a new version of the chase page other than the first one, anyway as I posted in Team News ( The View from the Bridge) Einstein at Home is not worth looking at Russia is the next target.
I remember Russia from a few months ago, and they seem to have slowed down, and/or we have gained more crunching power. :D

Told you some people don't like it!

I may have been a bit hasty in suggesting Einstein then! It seems we may pass them sooner than I realised at current rates. BOINCStatsdoes show that Russia may be a better, longer term, target after all!

Its not that I don't like the new page, I do, its just that the old page has additional info thats not (yet?) available in the new page, like the graphs.

Okay. How about this.

Lose the chase page. Most of the info is available in the new stats and is largely irrelevant. We don't need to know what they're crunching, just the total. We only need to know who is the next target and how far away they are - plus, maybe, who is below us. The format of the new 'chase table' could be the same as :-

UK    Team Target*
UK   Us*
UK   Threat Team*

INT   Team Target
INT   Us
INT   Threat Team

Credits still needed to catch...
In the last hour...
Approx pass time...

* = May not even need UK version as there's only 1 team above, and no threat team!

So all the info we want could be condensed into the 6 lines and placed at the top of the new stats page!

Well, that's the idea - implementation may be  another matter!
