Thanks Timby for pointing that out I wouldn't have seen it if it had hit me in the face.
Sure I read somewhere you have to respond to their email.

Just as update on the Prime Finding exploites of myself and Rockinfroggi (what a lucky pair we are) if you are fourtunate enough to find a Prime here's what happens:-
Hi Timby,
All primes are doublechecked. If you happen to be the doublechecker, you're not the original finder so you won't hear from Rytis. If you are, you'll get an email from him. This should now be an automated process so it'll probably take a week tops.
Whether you're the first or not is something you yourself can normally find out in advance by reviewing your 'My results' list. A prime is easily recognized as it takes twice as long to check if it is a twin and (thus) gets double credits too, 2.36. If your comp was the first one to send in the result, you're the finder.
Unfortunately Rytis is doing some heavy maintenance on the Primegen results and as a precaution he has switched off the resultlists, which are pretty heavy queries.
So the message for now is to just wait and see if you're getting an email.
And if you do, congrats on joining the club!!
So keep on crunching those LLR WU's.

I had a bit of a problem earlier on when I switched on to PrimeGrid. Seems okay now as I just downloaded 62 WUs.
RCN had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago. 'Shut down the BOINC manager and restart' was the advice then.

From the main news page of Prime Grid:-
QUOTE
News
2007-02-24 14:07:04 UTC Reporting world record prime numbers
PrimeGrid's Twin Prime Search subproject has been recently finding prime numbers that are among top 5000 biggest prime numbers ever known. We want the prime finders to be correctly credited so that their names appear on scientific papers (if any), so we have been sending out emails to the participants who find the numbers. However, the prime reporting rate is relatively low, and we think that this might be because of some email software incorrectly marking our emails as spam. If you run LLR application from PrimeGrid in your BOINC, please check your spam folder and/or allow emails from
services@www.primegrid.com to go to your inbox - you might be loosing a chance to have your name tied with an important scientific discovery!
END QUOTE.

Well I've just had to reset my second Einstein work unit of the weekend. Bummer!!
The PrimeGrid units I've had have been crunching well but I'm getting the server overloaded message so can't get any new WU's.
Why do I always seem to get more problems when on Crunch weekends? :(

Even though the mini-crunch has finished I've notice that PrimeGrid is still holding up at around 5 times normal output. The gap has gone from 137,412 to 107,770 - a decrease of nearly 30,000 in 6 days and at the current rate we should get to UK number 1 team in about 3-4 weeks.
GO TEAM!
