MILESTONE: 8 Years of Crunching !!

Hi all,
It was around this time, back in 1999, that the public first started becoming aware of distributed computing, via the SETI@home project.
Since then, we've come a LONG way...and I thought it would be good to "mark the event" and to congratulate both "original" members and those who've joined up since...for all of your invaluable efforts.
Of course, without each and every members involvement, many things just wouldn't have happened. And, although I'm guessing here, I am sure that the results from various projects are already starting to benefit mankind, even if we haven't yet found any aliens.
So, a slap on the back to everyone who is (or has been) a contributor using their home and/or work PC's. Long may it continue.!
