Do you use Freeserve / Wanadoo / Orange for BOINC email?

Hi all,

Do you use Freeserve / Wanadoo / Orange for BOINC email?

If so, then please visit this website:

http://help.orange.co.uk/sessionBegin.d ... nId=kb2156

and then select the "Approved list" and add to your "approved list":

founder@ukboincteam.org.uk


This should then ensure that you will receive any future emails from me - where as at present, they will go to your "BULK SPAM" folder :-(

That'll be me then!

Done that and added " @ukboincteam.org.uk " just in case which is an alternative and will allow anyone with that suffix through.

I've finally found your email, Timbo, way down in my junk folder, nestled between 'Busty Asian Babe' and some pills to make my manhood grow by 50%!! :shock:  :lol:  :lol:

You're now on my safelist :D

Hi all,

After many emails, I now have had an official response from Orange/Wanadoo/Freeserve ISP.

They say:
Also, we would like to inform you that there is limit on the server to
send emails, so please try sending emails 20 at a time.
In other words, if I try and send a single email to more than 20 email addresses and SOME of them are Orange/Wanadoo/Freeserve, then this ISP will class them as "SPAM" and hence re-direct them to the BULK SPAM folder of your account.

As such, it may well be the case that you are not receiving emails from other people as well as UBT.

What you do with this information, is of course up to you.

But so far, I've not had this sort of issue with Hotmail, Gmail or most of the other free email/ISP providers.

After I set up the filters as above, I've eventually got an email!

Strange thing is thought that before this the emails DIDN'T go to the spam folder they just didn't arrive! Never mind - all sorted now.
