Grid searches for avian flu cure
Don't know why they can't use BOINC for things like this it wouldn't take them long to develop a program to run off it, and then they have the potential of loads of computer power from us all

The client software probably is easy to convert to run via Boinc, it's the server setup thats the problem. Just look at the number of projects that have come and gone before getting the server running properly. Even the established projects still have problems when the server spits its dummy.

As it Governments scientists though you would expect them to have the money and experts to be able to set up a server, they have managed to get a program up & running on Uni computers, BOINC should be a brezze.
