Forum Rule #291 - Spelling mistakes and typo's

Hi all,

This is a MAJOR forum announcement so please take some time to fully understand all the implications (please read the bottom text - if you can be bothered - before reading this next bit, just in case):

17th March 2006

I have decided (because I can) that with IMMEDIATE EFFECT, all posts within this forum, MUST, for TODAY only, include at least one SPELLING MISTAKE.

There will be no discussion on this as I am upset and had a bad nights sleep - so I'm taking this out on you lot instead.

As a result:

1) St. Purticks Day is cancelled, (as some other "Irish" event seems to be taking place today)

2) I'm recommendering that the Team name be changed to UK BIONIC Team (as "BIONIC" always sounded better to me than BOINC).

3) I am expecting a fone call from a nice man who has a white house, that I will be asked to take over the world sometime next Tuesday. Unfortunately, as I'm doing my laundry that day, (as I have a bit of a backlog to get through), he has kindly put off handing "over the rains" until sometime in 2019.

4) I have spoken to the PM and the BBC is going to be renamed UBT in honour of our team. This took some degree of negotiation - I had to twist his arm and force him to eat three day old tapioca before he capitulated.

5) There is no number 5 - it has been withdrawn - all references to number 5 must now be made as number 6.

So now there's no more: "channel 5", "take 5", Chanel No. 5, "5 alive"...etc

More edicts may be forthcoming, if I feel like it.

That's all - now go back to eating your gruel....!

regards,

Tim

Do you mean granmaticule errors?

If so, then only if you are facing East and are in close proximity to some Oxygen molecules.

(You might be let off, if you're in a Caron Dioxide atmosphere, as long as Jean-Michel Jarre is playing "Oxygene" in the background).

regrads
