Hello my Friends from UK BOINC Team,
SETI.Germany invites all BOINC teams to the SETI@Home Wow!-Event 2013. It takes place from Thu 15th August, 16.00 UTC, until Thu 29th August 2013, 16.00 UTC.

I meant the team at 81st - wish I had enough power to personally be 81st - instead of languishing at a 615th out of 729! :oops:

Hi all,
Sadly, despite my best attempts, neither of my 2 current crunching machines could join this crunchathon, due to the SETI software failing to verify the downloads, as the various graphics files are compressed via my network connection (which is via a mobile 3G signal) and hence any WU's downloaded wouldn't be crunched as I got the "download failed" error message.
However, as of today, I've got a friends broadband connection and the SETI files have now downloaded OK....a bit too late for the WOW event, but at least I can do some SETI WU's now

Don't worry Mikee - I came a lowly 660th!
My results were crippled by a mega Astropulse unit first off (and my BOINC PC is very very old and slow...)
