Let's see - I started SETI way back when. Joined the team November 2005 with the grand total of 1905 (call it 0!). So it's taken 10 months to get this far, so that's 100 months to get to 1,000,000 - 8.33 years! But processing power/speed doubles every 18 months (18 months say 200,000, next 18 months 400,000 = 600,000 so, for arguments sake, add another 12 months for the rest = 48 months!
So then a BIG congratulations is due about 10th September 2010! Can't wait! :scratch:
