There is now a 64 bit BOINC client available from Crunch3r
Use it at your own risk, its still trial & error from what I can tell, might just be safer waiting for BOINC staff to get around to making an official 64 bit client
64 Bit BOINC Client
Just tried Crunch3r's XP/Vista App version 5.9.0, Pirates@home is a no no, seems to inflate the requested credits??

I'm not to sure about this myself so i thought i would post before i go ahead and try it, but on Crunch3r's website would the Intel Core 2 SSE3 package be likly to run ok on a quad-core? Or would it be likly to go balls up on me and complain if i did this?
Current Specification:
Vista x64-bit
Intel Core 2 Quad
Would this work?

[EDIT]
This package seems to work fine! Crunching away on 64-bit!
