After a stressful day working (honestly ) we tend to watch Pointless whilst having tea. Here's a small excerpt from last Thursday, summarised:
Alexander Armstrong: "We're looking for the names of Premier League managers for the season 2015/2016"
Contestant: "I don't know anything about football so I'm going to have to make up a name. I'll say 'Robin Smith' "
AA: "I'm afraid that's an incorrect answer and scores 100 points. Richard ..."
Richard Osman: "Yes, nobody of that name has ever managed in the Premier League. I do believe a Robin Smith has managed Leeds United, though. But then, so has just about everybody else!"
Well just shows how little he knows, there hasn't been a Robin Smith managing Leeds .... yet

We were just toying with them Glad to be of service ... better do a good job tomorrow though or you'll still be within OUR reach

We've got our young talisman back from glandular fever and even if he's only going to put in a short stint he could make a difference now. I feel reasonable confident, but QPR had a good result at the weekend, so no chickens counted.

Shows how desperate you are when you have to drag someone off their sick bed to make up the numbers

We didn't need him, anyway!
Now, how did Leeds do last night ... let me see ... oh yes ... another great result for the man from Barnsley. A couple more of those and you'll be looking for your next manager. Your board could save themselves lots of compensation and achieve the same results by turning to the local pub for help!

Hey! Derby are a top five club, they were at home, we were ahead twice and they only just managed to scramble a draw in added on time.
Not a bad result by any unbiased viewer
Okay, I admit it - absolutely awful the other night
Wilder had a bit of a tantrum when talking to local radio, said he was throwing in the towel - although I suspect that was all for the benefit of the players.
But after the weekend's results we can still go 6th by winning at Reading tomorrow night.
And now you have a win under your belt. I won't even be churlish and say "well, it has to happen occasionally!"

Doh, and there was me already to gloat
What you need is a new manager, you can have one of our cast offs

I think the appropriate word there is 'can', I won't hold my breath

It's happened quite a few times ... just not as often as I would have liked!
Gawd, it's bloody awful out there. We're basically snowed in and we're in the middle of town. I can't imagine what it's like up in't hills hereabouts.....
Not been much different here. I left Sheffield city centre at 5:15 last night with a little snow falling for a journey that should take 30 minutes. I got home eventually at 6:30 in a blizzard with the roads already becoming difficult. Walked the dog and found the same roads grinding to a halt. This morning was as bad - but at least it's slowly improving now!
Quite right - but we were counting chickens a week ago and look what we got!! But let's hope it's done with - although I can't help recall a County Championship cricket match in Buxton being abandoned for the day in July when snow stopped play!!

Seemed more like the Bahamas! Half an hour of very light flakes which hardly laid then they just melted! Nice summers day here at the moment (although it is a little chilly in the wind)
