Change of Founder

Post by UBT - Halifax-lad »

The BOINC server code has been updated so when the projects finally update there will be a button available for team members to press if the founder vanishes and they wish to take over the team.

Once pressed a email is sent to the founder if the founder does not reply within 2 months then the founder status is moved over to the person who pressed the button.

Well, that's warning me to keep on my toes then

S'posen though, that something "breaks" somewhere and the "founder" never gets the email in the first place.

What happens then??

Hope it's not ONE STRIKE and you're OUT....!

regards

Yep if you don't reply in 2 months time thats it your out, so founders need to make sure there emails are kept up to date and that the email is not in the spam filter

Hi David,

Well, FYI, I'm still awaiting the RenderFarm "test" email......been over an hour now.

Wonder if it will ever arrive?

Its a server error the database has not been upgraded as yet from the looks of it so it will never register as been requested until the database is sorted

Edit: RenderFarm's mail server is down at the moment
