In a nutshell, I'd just like to summarise the last 3 years of UK BOINC Team.
In the first year, things started slowly. There were only a few projects, such as SETI, CPDN and Einstein.
Team membership rose slowly, mainly because BOINC was still a "new thing" and the original software was a pain to install.....earlier versions had to be completely uninstalled first, before the new version could be installed...and this caused problems for some.
After one year of activity, by June 2005, we'd clocked up: 1 million credits on SETI, 1 million on CPDN, 500k on Einstein, approx 100k on Predictor and 25k on LHC.
Our total Team credit was nearly 3 million.
Our UK ranking has always been fairly high, because to start with there were few teams....!
During our 2nd year, more projects came on line, thereby providing us with more credit generation capability, as some of the projects had "growing pains" as the huge worldwide interest in BOINC caused issues with the project servers and infrastructure. But this turned out to be a good thing, as the wider range of projects meant that each member had the chance to help their favourite project(s), rather than just crunch on something "just for the sake of it".
And of course our membership increased, especially after the opening our our Forum.
By June 2006, our Total Team credit was just over 20 million and our UK ranking showed where we were going to as we passed most of the higher ranked UK teams.
Another year on....now 3 years after our inception and by now, another whole batch of BOINC projects are now available taking the total to over 50!
And our Total Team credit stands at 73.7 MILLION.

Team membership now stands at over 3,500 accounts and over 1,000 individual members.
This is simply just "AWESOME"......so many thanks to every member, both past and present, for making UBT the UK's favourite BOINC Team !!
