help please

Hi all. I have a PC running Vista Home Premium 32bit with an Optiarc 7200S DVDRW (so my device manager tells me)

All has been running well and the drive was reliable. But just today when I came to use it it would not work at all.
When I put a disc in I can hear it spinning inside but 'nowt'

I have tried Restore but no good.

The drive shows in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation mark suggesting no drivers.

The PC is still under warrenty and of course I cannot be without it. :>)

Any help ? Please....

Long shot Bob, but have you looked to see if the wires are still connected.

You could also disconnect it.. boot pc, shutdown and reconnect it, on next boot windows might 'find it' again

Did you open the little door in the front and chuck another shovel of coal in?

NO we don't have coal here......
